About Distyle

Here is a brief presentation of his musical journey so that you can understand the context in which he produce music today:

First of all Distyle has been sound engineer for over 15 years.

Using his resources and experience he built up a commercial studio in the suburb of Paris.

In the meantime he has been composing electronic music: hip hop, techno and experimental. he always try to transpose art of sound design to his music by exploring all technologies that could recreate the smell of my soul. He's also DJing/Remixer and made some radio jingle (Radio Nova in Paris) and have participated to a Mercedes promo compilation with The Brand New Heavies.

Due to his main activity he collaborated with many musicians from different cultural backgrounds: from oriental to latin jazz bassist, flutist, guitarist and keyboardist… They have all been fascinating by the project that he wanted to elaborate.

World of shades is gathering all of the above: a creation with no boundaries , the expression of people’s soul who want to share … music that one does not only listen but that one could also easily watch.

The compositions are both present and timeless, one might even say «universal».

After intense years of work, this whole project intend to bring us beyond ourselves and beyond our mind. A music aiming at finding yourself through a maze of sounds produced by an 'effect factory' .... One could sometimes hear an Hitchcock's soundtrack ... then you find yourself in an island in the middle of primitive tribes then hand in space weightlessness, lulled by this gentleness flirting with the Nirvana ...

Each piece is a teleportation from one state to another, we do not know what to feel, we navigate from death to life, friendship to love, dream to reality ...

I just tried to shares with you my whole sensibility through this project.
